any - Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served under a glass roof that opens in warm weather. Curved banquettes sit at tables clad in pink damask, topped with seasonal centerpieces. Small potted fig trees grow in the center of the room. Menu is international with Czech specialties. Lobby bar - Hot snacks are served amid gold columns in the lobby bar. Soft red banquettes and armchairs and warm red wallpaper give the bar an Oriental feel.

What to expect: In the quiet, residential streets of the castle district, the 1882 Savoy's lobby is playfully decorated with sculptures of lively children and a life-sized young girl stretched out in front of reception. Oils of 19th century scenes hang above plaid and red armchairs in the lobby library. Couples and the occasional celebrity take advantage of complimentary afternoon tea after a day of sightseeing. Amenity highlights: The breakfast room serves three types of complimentary breakfasts, the contents of the minibar are free, and all guests have complimentary access to the relax center, with its jetted tubs, saunas and fitness machines. Complimentary afternoon tea is served in the library, where Czech, German, English and Hungarian antique books line the walls. Insider tip: The Savoy has been a hotel since it was built in 1882, and while it's been updated to a 21st century standard, there are still touches of the past. Guests on their way to the lobby bar should take a small detour to the right, where the hotel's original, free-standing cloak room can still be seen. Although it's rarely used now, it can be recognized from the inscription 'Šatna' above its doors.
